The Great Master Bathroom of Dunwoody is in its second week of construction. Yesterday and today the tile people were here: two Mexicans. Strangely enough, this is the first time Mexicans have been on the project. Anyhoo, they got the floor tile down and grouted and also the tile around the tub. They also put up the backing in the shower. That’s gonna be granite.
The cabinet people are coming tomorrow morning. Then, the granite dudes can come in and make their templates. Still to come: new mirrors, new light fixtures, painting, and other miscellaneous stuff.
I will be so glad when this project is done as will my poor frightened cats. I’ve put this project off for years just because I knew how much it would disrupt my life. Of course, when I finally decide to do it it happens right when I get a skin sore on my butt. Great timing on my part!
