Once again we are seeing the double standards from the left. Remember, if it weren’t for double standards liberals would have no standards at all.
Let’s review. Roseanne Barr made an offensive tweet about Valerie Jarrett. Remember, Jarrett is a member of a protected species and you can’t say anything derogatory about her because it would be racist. The left went batshit crazy and ABC cancelled her show, which was a cash cow, but virtue signalling trumps profits. Bob Iger, the head of Disney called Jarrett and personally apologized for Roseanne’s tweet. Trump asked, “Where’s my apology?” He has a point.
Stephen Colbert called him a “cock holster” for Vladimir Putin. Did Colbert get in trouble? No. Did the head of CBS call up Trump and apologize? Nope. Trump is the wrong species. He’s a white conservative. You can say anything about them.
Think of Keith Olberman’s profanity laced screeds against Trump. ESPN just hired him.
Speaking of ESPN, remember Jemele Hill calling Trump a white supremacist? Did the head of ESPN call up Trump to apologize? Nope.
Just recently Samantha Bee called Ivanka Trump a “feckless cunt” probably the worst thing you can call a woman. Is her show on TBS gonna be canceled? Is the head of TBS gonna call up Ivanka and apologize? Nope. Ivanka is a white woman and the daughter of Donald Trump so she’s fair game.
The only person who has paid a price is Kathy Griffin and she has crawled out from under her rock and told Samantha Bee not to apologize. But Bee did not listen to her and did apologize. This is not the first time Bee has messed up. Her show went to a conservative convention and made fun of a retarded dude. Aren’t liberals sweet people? She had to apologize for that.
Maybe Samantha Bee was projecting when she called Ivanka a “feckless cunt”. You know what that makes Bee dontcha?
At the White House Correspondents dinner the despicable Michelle Wolf made fun of the appearances of Sarah Sanders and Kellyanne Conway. It wasn’t funny, it was hateful but that’s OK, they’re conservative women. Can you imagine the outrage if a comic had made fun of the appearance of Moochelle at one of these dinners?
I quit watching SNL because they were totally in the bag for Crooked Cankles. Their comedy is no longer satiric when it comes to members of the Trump administration. It’s flat out mean. But that’s who liberals are. They are what they accuse conservatives of. They’re mean spirited and hateful. It’s Vox Day’s Third Law of SWJs: SJWs always project. Rush Limbaugh stated much the same thing a few years ago when he said, “If you want to see what the Dimocrat Party is doing, look at what they are accusing Republicans of doing.
So keep expecting Samantha Bee to make disgusting remarks about Ivanka. Expect Olberman to rant and rave on ESPN. Expect Colbert to keep making disgusting jokes about Trump. All they will get is an occasional slap on the wrist and Trump can keep on waiting forever for a network head to call him and apologize. After all they hate Trump as much as Bee, Colbert, and all of the others do.
