I feel sorry for the Starbucks employees. All their stores are closing early for racial bias training.
Starbucks was attemping (sic) a dramatic move toward racial reconciliation Tuesday as it closed 8,000 stores across the nation for an afternoon of anti-bias training.
Translation: Africans are good, whites are bad.
Up to 180,000 employees at Starbucks stores and at its headquarters are receiving training from a “tool kit” that will “focus on understanding prejudice and the history of public accommodations in the United States.” Starbucks also said future training will address “all aspects of bias and experience.”
Stores closed for three hours or longer starting at 1 p.m. or 2 p.m., across the U.S.
At least it’s only three hours. At IBM, I had to attend two Diversity (All Hail Diversity!) Town Hall Meetings (I skipped the second one. I made sure my manager saw me, scored a coffee and a pastry, hobbled out on my crutches, and drove back to my office. One of my coworkers tagged along.) and a six hour Diversity (All Hail Diversity!) Workshop facilitated (these things weren’t taught they were facilitated) by a gay dude and a militant New York Jewish lesbian. A total waste of time. And then, every year we had to have a meeting devoted to Diversity (All Hail Diversity!). One year one of the Project Managers, who announced at the meeting that he was gay (Like we didn’t know it. One of the black dudes said, “Hey Michael, I’m black.) showed us a video of a 99 year old black lesbian. Ya see she had triumphed over racism, sexism, and homophobia. It ended with her riding a motorcycle with Dykes on Bikes. My poor team lead, who was a really good Christian, ground his teeth all the way through the video.
The Starbucks dudes and dudettes will be taught that Africans are a protected species and they need to defer to them.
They will not be taught that African dudes have big dicks.
They will not be taught that Africans are more likely to hold up a Starbucks than whites.
They will not be taught that Africans, who make up 13% of the population commit over 50% of the crime, most of that crime committed by African males between the ages of 15 and 35, which prolly makes it less than 5% of the population which commits most of the crime.
They will not be taught that more white people are killed by Africans than Africans are killed by white people.
They will not be taught that cops kill more white people than black people. Maybe it’s the white football players who should be kneeling instead of the kneegroes. Of course the kneegroes have more experience with the cops since many of them are felons and perpetrators of domestic violence. See Ray Rice, fiancee, elevator. The only reason many of these kneegroes aren’t in jail is because they are NFL stars.
Nope. They will have reverse racism rammed down their throats. It will be a long three hours. Here’s part of the training.
