Betcha the completely clueless and smug Hollywooders will be wearing black again at the Oscars, which I simply can NOT wait to ignore. They won’t be in black to mourn the mistreatment of women as at the Golden Boobs, but because doctors have pronounced Trump to be in excellent health both physically and mentally, and they can’t handle that.
Apparently one needs something close to a photographic memory to learn all the lines to succeed in the movie bidness, but I don’t think some of those people’s minds developed.
They honestly believe that we all should allow celebrities, and not our own brains, to dictate our political beliefs. Hey, some of these people actually finished high school, so . . . like Fredo, they’re sma-a-h-h-t, they can do things.
I think I can safely predict that in a spectacular break with tradition, President Trump will not blather endless platitudes about the state of the nation’s economy or security or China or Kim Jung Un in his SOTU address, but instead simply read the entire FISA memo, which according to Schiff, we’re too stupid to understand. Maybe there’ll be Cliff’s Notes.
I’ve simplified it all for myself: the Democrats are un-American and the Republicans are unrealistic. And based on what I’ve seen in the past few days from Schumer and Co., 100% of ordinary people think 50% of Americans have lost their freakin minds.
Congress seems to believe that its primary duty is to pose for news cameras, harrumph a lot, and point fingers at the opposite party, then issue delightfully evasive, subtly misleading, and totally hypocritical statements in formal governmentese. The word Congress has morphed into a synonym for mistrust.
But then, silly me . . . I was totally unaware that using the word shit is an impeachable offense. However, I have always known that being John Kerry or Hillary Clinton or Harry Reid or Nancy Pelosi or Debbie Whatsername Slutz is a flogging offense.
On the other hand, maybe I oughta give more credence to the reigning queens of the unhinged “Impeach 45”ers – Waters, Jackson-Lee, Wilson, Pelosi . . . throwing rotten vegetables, gossip, slander, invective, taunts, accusations, rumors, lies, and threats at Trump knowing that the more they throw and the more often, the more likely some will stick long enough to influence mid-term voters.
And as for DACA, Schumer’s master strategy is simple: if Americans don’t vote Democrat, then he’ll just have to import more people who will. Democrats care about the plight of Dreamers about as much as I care about death’s head moths on Uzbekistani fruit trees.
Kinda looks like, tho, that Schumer forgot Newton’s 4th law of nature – for every metastasizing liberalism action there will be an equal and opposite Trump reaction, a significant departure from standard GOP behavior patterns of late.
Problem is, politicians like Reid and Pelosi and Schumer and Schiff will vigorously defend a lie which they KNOW is a lie if their party’s success or their personal career is dependent upon that lie, even going to such extremes as gubmint shutdown to get their way.
I say we really don’t need several million more Latinos staring at us in Spanish and not knowing what they’re looking at when they see the Constitution, or a law, or a cop, but being offended by its merely being there.
And as for “refugees” from western Asia or northern Africa, I say anybody who wants to import hundreds of thousands of THOSE to this country is simply a traitor to civilization, and it wouldn’t be hard to make a strong case for expelling those who are already here.
So now I’ve gone and upset myself. And I haven’t even put my morning pills in my gut yet. Guess I’ll feed my dogs, then feed my belly, then do somethin constructive, like get an update on that huge 8.2 quake in Alaska, the volcanos in Japan and Mexico and the Philippines, and the quakes and eruptions in Indonesia, ‘cause this definitely signals the end of the world and I like to be ontoppathangs.
Either that or go for a bike ride.
