Feeling a little better at least well enough to copy and paste one of Ron’s rants. In spite of the pain, I managed to get to sleep since I was dead tired and then had the pain incorporated into my dreams. Weird.

Still havin trouble figurin out what the hell the left WANTS. I know they don’t like Trump and wanna get shet of him, but then what next? Do they want Pence? Or do they just wanna make the leap to repeal 22 and re-install the Magic Negro, who did SO much for blacks, economic stability, worldwide prestige, national security, and national debt reduction.
And I’m really weary of all the goddam gender bewilderment goin on today. Wholly Freakin Wow! What percentage of the population is either trans or homosexual? Anybody know fer shure? Betcha you check ‘n’ you’ll find it’s W-A-Y under 10% . . . in fact, closer to 2 or 3%, overall, including the whole category of non-heteros. The transgender community is less than 1%, BTW, down around .3%.
Listening to the noise on the news, tho, you’d get the impression that at LEAST a third of Americans are gay, lesbian, bi, tranny, or whatever. And if you watch TV, you’ll be convinced that half the country is black, when only 13% are Amfricans.
So . . . what does that mean, arithmetically – well, obviously over 90%, prob’ly closer to 95%, has very traditional habits and customs where marriage and child-rearing are concerned. Which begs the question . . . in a free society, why is less than 5% of the population making all the rules for bathrooms, customer service, gender identity, pronoun usage, and so on?
Now, I realize that most gays/lesbians/trans have no control over what they are and how they feel in terms of sex or gender or behavior, and most of them live their lives quietly, respectably, without annoying or attacking straights. It’s kinda like being left-handed, or tall, or dwarfed, or red-haired – not a whole helluva lot an individual can do about it.
But left-handed or bald or green-eyed people don’t demand special treatment and insist that society accede or conform to their particular needs. Historically, and as a rule, they either adapt to the dominant behavioral paradigms or join enclaves where their non-traditional attitudes and behaviors are understood and welcomed, birds of a feather type thing.
I just don’t think that making a big public deal out of demanding that 90 to 95% of the population acquiesce to the special needs of the very small minority when it comes to marriage, restrooms, free speech, and reserving the right to refuse service to anybody you damned well please is the best strategy in the long run. And I can see NO reason for punishing a Christian baker for refusing to make a cake for a same-sex couple. How goddam difficult would it be to just go find another friggin baker? Why put the guy out of business for having a religious conviction?
Frankly, I don’t feel the slightest bit enlightened by the constant bombardment from the media broadcasting Bruce Jenner’s gender bewilderment. BFD! I’m sure he’s had some inner turmoil over it thru the years, but Jesus Christ, who HASN’T had some indecision and angst about SOMEthing in his own life – business, marriage, loss of loved one, disfigurement, amputation, sexual dysfunction, congenital abnormality, 6 toes, spina bifida, birthmarks . . . . . . . .
Dammit, a check of Jenner’s DNA will show one X and one Y chromosome, and Chaz Bono’s will show two Xs. All the surgery in the Mayo Clinic ain’t gonna change that. This country has MUCH bigger fish to fry than what Jenner does or doesn’t have between his legs, and I’m about as interested in the final resolution of his sexuality as I am in the bottom line on Hillary’s election failure or the Trump/Russian collusion absurdity. And that goes for the photographs, too.
What exactly are we accomplishing by inconveniencing the great majority of the society by rules and special considerations for less than 5% of the people? How exactly would we be better off if the government was the single payer for ALL health care, ALL education, ALL social justice demands? What DOES the BLM actually want, a splinter group of a few thousand destroying property and disrupting business, mostly in black neighborhoods? Who profits?
I grew up in small-town America where we never locked our doors at night and didn’t even carry house keys when we went somewhere. We didn’t have cops in our schools, and our crossing guards weren’t taxpayer-funded adults but 11-yr-old kids with web belts and little badges, smart enough to help 6-yr-olds get across the street.
Murder, rape, drug addiction, grand theft, terrorism . . . those happened only in the big cities, or in the minds of the people who wrote for movies and television. And everybody knew which restroom to use and how to mind their own goddam business and stop asserting personal rights where the other person’s began.
We have puh-LENTY of laws concerning public indecency, drugs, mayhem, immigration, assault, theft, public nuisance, even terrorism . . . but we don’t enFORCE the damned things. If you trashed a police car and set fire to a pharmacy where I grew up, you’d find your ass properly and repeatedly kicked before landing in jail for a very long time. Today that simply doesn’t happen because of “freedom of speech” and “social justice.”
Well . . . social justice don’t feed the kitty. Wars aren’t won by Miranda rights or 5th Amendment protection or Political Correctness. They’re won by tired, dirty, hungry, frustrated grunts in strange situations far from home with boots, guns, bullets, and strong leaders . . . and strong convictions.
People in the coastal megalopolises, including Chicongo, STILL don’t understand why WE, the flyover majority, don’t get it and how wonderful it was to have an incompetent half-breed Kenyan as PotUS and what a travesty it is that we denied ourselves the glory of an allegedly female PotUS to follow his lead in so MANY marvelous adventures, both foreign and domestic.
And those coastal megalopolises, including Chicongo, are STILL where most of the crimes, terrorism, and drug problems originate. Hey, Noo Yaw . . . Chi-town . . . City of the Angels – we have rights, too. Stop exporting your friggin failed socialism and political correctness to the heartland. Clean up your own neighborhoods and take a long, adult, critical look at the leadership which has taken you to debt, depravity, drugs, and deadbeats. Quit pampering the assholes and start takin names and kickin ass on troublemakers and parasites. Why should people who live in and tolerate crime, corruption, and fraud be allowed to elect government officials for the rest of us on a national basis?
And don’t come to small-town American to see for yourself how to do it. Just stay where you are ‘til you get your act together. We’ll fax you instructions on how to hire the proper leadership and fire the criminals in city hall. And D.C. . . . . you might wanna take a long, hard look at term and age limits for legislators and jurists, kinda similar to that 22nd Amendment thingie.
