Mitch McConnell said he’s against the Tea Party and the Republicans needed to “run winners”. Why? Why “run winners” if they are gonna become Dimocrats when they become Congresscritters? I had an argument about this a few years back with an ex-friend (that’s not the reason we are no longer friends). He wanted to nominate someone like Christie because he could win and he wanted someone who could win. When I asked him why, he responded, “The Supreme Court.” This was before Roberts sold us out on Obummercare. Yeah. Like Republican presidents have done a real good job on the Supreme Court with Roberts, Souter, and Kennedy. If only the justices that Republicans appoint would be as reliable as the justices that Dimocrats appoint.
But I digress.
What’s the point in winning if the dude who wins governs like a Dimocrat? Republicans hold majorities in both houses of Congress and they just gave Obungler everything he wanted. Is this what we elected these people for? They are afraid of the media and they are afraid of Obumbler so they will not use the power of the purse and shut down the gummint. Cowards! I’m ashamed to say that my congresscritter, Tom Price, who is usually a reliable conservative voted for this bill. Sorry Tom. You just lost my vote. If you are primaried, I’ll vote for your opponent. I may not vote for your Dimocrat opponent, but I will not vote for you.
